LV Tap Fest
A three-day tap dance weekend, including work- shops, master classes, tap show, live vintage footage, tap history, and tap jams – where participants interact with each other and learn from the best tap performers in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Tap Fest was conceived May 25, 2013 on National Tap Dance Day as a one-day event full of classes, a show, and jam. Its purpose is to enhance the culture of tap dance in the Las Vegas Community. Since then, the one-day event has grown into a full organization with running programs and events with a team of volunteers, staff, partners, and faculty members.
This festival will continue to keep the tradition of tap dance alive in the great city of Las Vegas, NV.
National Tap Dance Day was declared in remembrance of tap pioneer Bill “Bojangles” Robinson and Las Vegas is celebrating the national dance holiday with extending the history of Las Vegas Entertainment in Tap.
